1Noise Pollution
We know the sounds of cities are loud enough to cause great harm to people's hearing in the U.
S. One person out of twenty has got some hearing loss. And all over the world the situation is getting worse and worse all the time since the noise increases with the population.
With the development of machines, noise has also increased greatly in the 20th century. We live surrounded by loud planes, trucks and electric tools. TV sets and radios add up to 90 or J00 decibels, a certain unit used to measure the loudness of sound. A normal dialogue reaches 55 decibels; a plane goes to 100, and an ordinary train, reaching the station, can be twice as loud as the loudest plane. Disco music reaches about 118. At 120 decibels the ear stops hearing sound, and pain starts.
How terrible if things go on like this!
我们知道城市的声音,响声足以对人们的听力造成巨大的伤害。
美国一个人从二十有一些听力损失。和世界各地的情况越来越糟了一直以来的噪音增加人口。

2Noise Pollution
Noise pollution can be unpleasant or even unbearable. It comes in many different forms.
For Example,noise coming from a rock concert,or the sound of karaoke coming from your neighbours’ house can be regarded as noise pollution.No matter where the noise comes from,it makes everyone feel uncomfortable.Noise levels are measured in decibels .The quietest noise that a human ear can detect is 0dB.The loudest that our ears can bear is 120dB.In noise environments,most people are easy to get angry and cannot sleep peacefully.Students cannot put their hearts into their studies.
So,noise pollution must be paid attention to so that everyone can live in a pleasant and peaceful world
噪音污染可以不愉快甚至无法忍受，它有许多不同的形式。

3Noise Pollution
The noise pollution is a big problem.
Now,the sounds of cars are all around us.look at me,I live near a factory.The noise from the factory is so bad.Every morning,when I am sleeping,the workers begin to work.They start machines to help them work.I can't stop myself to be angry.And then,I am always angry with everyone all the day.They are all afraid with me.I feel sad.
All are caused by the noise.We must stop it to effect our mood.
噪音污染是一个大问题。
现在,汽车在我们周围的声音。看着我,我住在一个工厂附近。工厂的噪音是如此糟糕。每天早上,当我睡觉时,工人们开始工作。他们开始机器来帮助他们工作。我不能阻止自己生气。然后,我总是生气每个人整天。他们都害怕和我在一起。我感到悲伤。

4Noise Pollution
In modern cities there are noises everywhere. But people seem to get used to these noises. They do not take much notice to these unpleasant sounds around them . Therefore, people never believe these sounds will be a serious problem.
However, they are wrong. In fact, noises can do great harm to people’s physical and psychological health. Staying in a noisy circumstance for too long will not only damage people’s hearing but also cause discomfort of their bodies. And also they will feel nervous and lose their temper easily.
Since noise is a serious problem, measures must be taken to control it . Laws and regulations should be passed to reduce the noises in the city. Only in this way can noise pollution be brought under control.
在现代城市到处都有噪音。但人们似乎习惯于这些噪音。他们不太注意这些令人不快的声音。因此,人们不会相信这些听起来将会是一个严重的问题。
